R. J. Pope
Title
R. J. Pope
Description
Box 3 Folder 13: "This is a mounted picture of RJ Pope, Robelia Pope. It’s folder 13. She’s doing a cooking show, which we think was on around noon. Is there anything on the back of the picture? No. Okay. We’re approximating 1954. RJ Pope would have been given to us by… I think Mose Chambers gave us this picture. Mose Chambers gave us this picture. I’m almost certain. I don’t know who else would have had an original and given us that, but he did. It's in rough shape but apparently meaningful to Mose. Mose was a loyal listener to my talk show on WJLD and his brother Ed Chambers was a sports broadcaster at early WEDR. Folder 13 also contains an enlargement of the original."
