Title

Heavenly Four Gospel Singers

Description

Box 1 Folder 51: "Folder 51, two pictures from 1949. Right? From 1949, pictures of the Heavenly Four Gospel Singers, Don Solomon’s group. An earlier picture and a newer picture with Robert, Don, Monroe, a Charles Brown and a James (?). They “integrated” Sundays at WVOK. Also the location where their manager Leroy Garrett (adult in both pictures) learned radio which resulted in his starting WEUP in Huntsville in 1958. Original pictures from Don. I copied them. Don's house burned. I copied them again for him."
