Box 1 Folder 47: "This is box number one number 47? Folder 47. The year listed is 1948, and these are descriptions of the 1948 construction of the antenna for WJLN (and eventually WJLD) moving to Red Mountain. Moving its transmission facilities, we believe out of Bessemer and to the mountain, to Red Mountain. 1948 was a time when, while the construction was going on WJLD had moved its facility from City Hall in Bessemer to the Bessemer Super Highway. They were now at the Bessemer Super Highway and stayed there, at a building built for them, which we will see pictures of later, until 1952, but transmitting the signal from the Bessemer Superhighway to Red Mountain we need to learn more about. WJLD owned the Bessemer Super Highway building until at least 1954."
