The Birmingham Black Radio Museum thanks its many donors and supporters including The Jefferson County Commission, University of Alabama School of Library and Information Studies, the City of Birmingham, Birmingham Record Collectors, Bureau of Tourism, State of Alabama, Radio Preservation Task Force of the Library of Congress, Society of Alabama Archivists, Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, the Daniel Foundation, the Alabama Power Foundation, Regions Bank Foundation, the National Parks Foundation, Alabama Historical Radio Society the Holle Family Foundation, the Alabama Humanities Association, Alabama State Representative Merika Coleman, Alabama State Senator Rodger Smitherman, State Senator Linda Coleman and the Alabama Historical Association which presented their Digital History Award for 2023 in the Large Project category to the BBRM. Thanks as well to the many friends of the BBRM for their consistent support and encouragement.
