Title A name given to the resource Ephemera Collection Description An account of the resource In 2009, BBRM staff and volunteers began the archiving of this collection, with the arranging of objects chronologically (1935 – 1995) and the purchasing of proper archival storage materials. In 2011, an oral finding aid with provenance was constructed by conversations between University of Alabama School of Library and Information Studies (UA SLIS) volunteer Lindsey Reynolds (now at University of Georgia, Athens Library) and BBRM Director Bob Friedman. In 2013 and 2014, those interviews were transcribed by UA SLIS volunteer Michael Mitchell (known affectionately as the MMT). For each object, the original finding aid conversation has been added and can be found in quotes in the description section. As of the most recent online uploading in August, 2019, the Ephemera Collection consisted of eight boxes containing 413 folders with approximately 850 files, spanning the period 1935-1989. Text A resource consisting primarily of words for reading. Examples include books, letters, dissertations, poems, newspapers, articles, archives of mailing lists. Title A name given to the resource American Research Bureau Ratings, October 1972 Description An account of the resource Box 6 Folder 22: "Ok we’re moving along now to folder 22 which again is a rating book put out by the American Research Bureau which gives all kinds of listings. Where did this come from, I don’t know. It’s kind of interesting, don't remember seeing that before. How about that? OK, again this listing from October of 1972. We copied the pages that showed the survey map, survey area demographics, the local stations, and their power. The entire package is over 60 pages.
