Box 6 Folder 16: "We’re moving now to folder 16. Folder 16 contains a letter from Channel 42 to George Johnston III paying him some money in accordance with… the letter is from Hugh Smith, executive vice president of Channel 42, WBMG. Construction of the early Channel 42 tower may have been on Johnston land. WJLD's tower is now up on Garrison Avenue. The letter concludes the transactions between WBMG and Johnston Broadcasting. Apparently there was a dispute over tower construction on Red Mountain and whether or not there was some kind of… perhaps there was some kind of… some kind of interference with regard to signals, to their signals.
