Interview With Chief Thomas J. Ward, WJLD

Description

Box 5 Folder 20: "Folder 20, WJLD envelope and letterhead from 109 North 19th Street including an interview with Thomas H. Ward, the chief of police of Fairfield. It’s a little news blurb about WJLD moving from Homewood (even though the studio is downtown Birmingham, but the tower's still in Homewood. The station would eventually be licensed to Fairfield but be located in Mason City where it currently resides) and the police chief's comments about how it could be a help in his work. . Side bar, the file shows the letterhead and envelope. From the WJLD files."
