Box 5 Folder 9: "This is folder 9 and, again from ’67, Willie McKinstry striking a pose. WJLD. The only radio station he was ever at, (except for a 1939 stint at WHMA, Anniston) ...again from the Chris McNair Studios. As with a few of the pioneers, I missed meeting Willie McKinstry whose radio career at WJLD spanned 30 years including singing with the Kelley Choral Singers, the Evangelist Gospel Singers and Southernaires."
