Box 1 Folder 32: "From November 26, 1946, which was sent to us by Charles Manzella who was a disc jockey on WJLD in ’46. It was written up in the Tiger Times (Bessemer High School), and it does appear that he might have been a high school student who was working at WJLD at the time. It was published by the students of Bessemer High School, and so we did get correspondence from Charles Manzella at one time. He was one of the white announcers on WJLD in the early days."
