The Southernaires' Hymns for Male Quartet

Title

The Southernaires' Hymns for Male Quartet

Description

Box 1 Folder 17: "Box 1 folder 16, pardon me 17. It’s another group of sheet music songs. A hymnal grouping from 1943, the Southernaires, a vocal group. It was the Southernaires, a vocal quartet, an old vocal quartet and they were apparently well known throughout the country but they also did perform in Birmingham and it’s a folder of the songs that they performed. The back cover has a picture of the Golden Gate Quartet from that period, and this was found in a thrift store somewhere by Bob Friedman."
