Camp Meeting Choir

Description

Box 1 Folder 16: "This is box 1 number 16 from 1943, various pictures describing the Camp Meeting Choir we think to the best of our knowledge they were from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. They are most likely from copies of pictures from the A.G. Gaston collection, which we were allowed to photograph in the late 90’s after A.G.’s passing. Bill Ricker was the photographer who took the pictures. We were invited to do that because some of the pictures had a WJLD microphone identified. It was a wonderful find."

You are correct, these are the pictures of my grandfather, J Garfield Wilson and the Camp Meeting Choir.
